
Fu Jen Catholic University established department of mass communication. The department had offered three concentrations of study: Journalism, advertising, and radio and television since 1984. In 1986, the school offered three career tracks — journalism, advertising, and radio and television. The department of mass communication was separated into three department: journalism and communication, advertising and communication, and communication arts. The college of communication was established in 2010. In the past 40 years, the department of journalism and communication partnered with the department of advertising and communication , department of communication arts, and graduate institute of mass communication, providing a comprehensive academic program.
